“Secret of Me and Poetry” is a collection of songs and poems shaped over many years, emerging from lived experience drawn from my inner landscapes and from the shared seasons of humanity upon the Earth. Inspired by both classical and contemporary poetry, these works give voice to joy and sorrow, love and longing, patience and sacrifice. These compositions reflect Nowruz celebrations and moments of collective joy; they echo human love stories and acts of devotion, and they stand as quiet elegies for times marked by oppression, violence, power-seeking, and dictatorship. The voice of this collection is the voice of my heart—an intimate reflection shaped by understandings both tender and profound. This work is dedicated to those who gave their lives for the rebuilding of their homeland and for the freedom of belief, faith, and conscience those who may no longer walk among us, yet whose spiritual presence continues to inspire renewal and liberation. It is also offered to the survivors who, in the absence of those devoted souls, carry both longing and hope.

Secret Of Me and the Târ A selection of melodies for the “Târ”
where the preludes, chahârmezrâbs, and rengs embody the heartfelt prayers of a soul. Like a silver-winged dandelion, they are messengers of stories from times long past, soaring over distant and nearby lands.
The melodies within these pages hold the secret between me and my instrument the “Târ” my tireless companion and confidant.
They sing of birth and a magnificent fare-well, of Nowruz and Shâhgâh, of Leily’s grace and Shireen’s passion, of the eternal dance between reason and love. They whisper harmonies of shared breaths, lingering apprehensions, the hidden essence of twenty vine trees, and, at last, the gentle summer breeze that lifts dandelions into flight. May the resonance of this secret, on a sunlit day, whisper in your soul just as the delicate and radiant wings of a dandelion dance in the wind.
With gratitude to those who, knowingly or unknowingly, planted the seeds of these melodies in my heart, and to the dear companions whose love and patience helped bring this book to life.
